
About Arielle Vandenberg
I’ve always been pretty low maintenance in my day to day life, but my profession as an actress, host and content creator sometimes requires *a lot* more. Working with top artists and industry professionals offered me a unique glimpse behind the scenes so to speak, and really sparked my interest in beauty products. While I had no urge to incorporate full glam into my daily life, there were so many tips and tricks that I could use to add a little more polish to my everyday routine.
I really gravitate towards simplicity and in the beauty space, I found something of a black hole. There are countless options from both mass and luxury brands, but many either had ingredients that I didn’t want to use routinely due to sensitivity and other concerns such as synthetic fragrances and irritants, or they just felt too precious to toss in my bag or pocket. I wanted to create a line that wasn’t fussy, but still lived up to my clean standards and addressed my daily needs!
Rel History 

March 2017
The idea 
Arielle came up with the concept of Rel - a brand focused on clean and effortless beauty.

November 2020
In the lab 
Arielle found a chemist and started development on the No Duh Tinted Lip Balms.

May 2021
First look 
After countless renditions, the OG Rel Logo and branding was approved!

June 2021
First batch 
The first batch of No Duh Lip balm was ordered!

December 2021
Rel Beauty launch 
Relbeauty.com and No Duh Lip Balm finally launched!

January 2023
Hydrating Cream Blush 
Arielle started development on Hydrating Cream Blush + one more product coming VERY SOON!

April 2023
New logo approved 
New brand design guidelines and logo are approved

Launched the new Rel
